McBride Elementary School
Ft. Benning, Georgia

You inspire us to make Our Heroes' Tree better each year!
The first time McBride Elementary students hosted Our Heroes' Tree they decorated ornaments for two sets of trees, one for the families and one for the deploying troops to carry overseas.

This year, McBride students' ornaments included pictures of MILITARY FAMILIES to recognize the heroes among us...every day...in the line of danger and on the homefront.

Military Family Research Institute
at Purdue University
developed a living history kit for
Our Heroes' Tree.
